Tri-cable gondola directly beneath the Eiger north face, rising to Eigergletscher at 2,320 m. The fastest way onto the mountain and the best photography of the day — sit on the left side going up.

Change onto the Jungfrau Railway. The line disappears into a tunnel bored through the Eiger and Mönch, which is where the remaining ascent happens — in the dark, over roughly 25 minutes.

Jungfraujoch: Sphinx Observation Deck · 45 min di sini

Europe's highest railway station. A lift rises to the Sphinx terrace at 3,571 m for the view over the Aletsch Glacier, the longest in the Alps at around 22 km and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Allow a few minutes to adjust — the air is noticeably thin.

A walkway carved into the glacier itself, lined with ice sculptures. Temperature holds a few degrees below freezing year-round and the floor is genuinely slippery.

Step out onto the snow field between the Mönch and Jungfrau summits. Seasonal snow activities operate in summer; in winter the plateau may close in high wind.

Indoor walkway telling the story of the tunnel's construction, finishing at the chocolate shop. Useful as a warm-up before the descent, and a natural lunch window.
